Why mahatma gandhi decide to launched the civil disobidience?

Hey bro

I think he just launched the civil disobedience movement just because to bring freedom to our country India as, if people will stop going to colleges,offices and many other kinds of jobs run by the British government then the British government will suffer great loses and they may decide to give freedom to our country as they cannot afford such kind of great loses.
