Why making anti viral drug is harder than preparing anti bacterial medicine

because virus are non living entity that have few biochemical mechanism of their own and they enter our cells to use our circular machinery for their life process which can harm us

Virus are more tricky things which are difficult to find as they are very small , do not have cell wall and hide between cells while bacteria are easy to find and have cell wall . This is why there is no anti viral medicines till known.
