Why manganin or constantan wire are used in potentiometer.Explain why?

Answer:

Manganin and copper wire ,can be used in potentiometer .A galvanometer needs to be more accurate and it should give same reading for the parameter even in different situation.

An error, environment error are seen in measuring instrument due to external effect like temperature ,humidity etc cetera.This error should be minimized by making a proper choice of material while manufacturing the measuring instrument.
