Why many farmers are small farmers?

many farmers are small farmers because they had to take loans from the zamindars and big farmers as they have not the money to fulfill the needs of their children as well as for their family. they are considered to be small farmers because we have not proper facilities given by the govt. actually the production of goods that is crops food at etc. are being prepared by the farmers and the income of the farmers is very less as compared to the others who is having the facilities like irrigation crop rotation at etc.

Many Farmers are small and in other words poor especially in India because of the following reasons :-

They don't have their own lands.
They don't get actual and good price of their crops.
Landless Farmers work under other rich landlords which leads them to get low salary.
They don't get sufficient loans.
Crop failure.
