Many people moved out of villages belonging to lower castes because during colonial rule people in villages believe more in caste discrimination and untouchability than the cities. In villages people of high caste forced lower caste people to go out of villages as they also believe that if they will live with them then they will become dirty or would be cathched woth any disease.
