why mass is taken as constant in Boyle's law and charle's law

In boyles law Temperature is taken constant whereas in charles law Pressure is taken constant.

Boyle's law states that at constant temperature , volume of the mass is inversely proportional to pressure . Charle's law states that at constant pressure, the volume of the given mass is directly proportional to absolute temperature.
