DEAR BRO,
ACTUALLY METALLICITY INCREASES WHEN WE GO DOWN THE GROUP BECAUSE WHEN WE GO DOWN THE GROUP , THE NUMBER OF VALENCED SHELLS OR SIMPLY SHELL INCREASE BY 1 THUS THE EFFECTIVE NUCLEAR CHARGE OF NUCLEUS WITH WHICH IT ATTRACTS THE ELECTRONS TO IT DECREASES AS ATOMIC RADIUS INCREASES OR GAP BETWEEN THE NUCLEUS AND ELECTRONS INCREASES , THUS ELECTRONS TEND TO LOSE EASILY THUS LOOSING ELECTRONS MEANS IT IS ELECTROPOSITIVE.
