as we know that diamond and graphite are the product of carbon in different compounds. the specific heat of graphite is more than that of diamond so the melting point of graphite is more than diamond...

graphite has different composition of carbon atoms than diamond and graphite has more specific heat than diamond so melting point is higher than diamond
