Learning is a contextual active and constructive process.

Learning through activities help in making the students independent and flexible. It also helps in engaging the students in discussions and improves thinking and problem-solving skills. It helps to make the children understand the concept and work accordingly.

The main qualities of learning through activities involve understanding, association, first letter mnemonics, rhymes, patterns, and chunking skills.

Memorization is not considered as an activity for learning as it is a technique which focuses not on understanding but on memorization by means of repetition.
