A memory is compulsory in a computer because, many people store data on their computer, and for one to be able to store data, you must have a memory on which the the data is to be stored, if you do not have the memory, the computer is rendered some how useless. And of course what good is a computer without a memory???

Explanation: There are two type of memories. which are;

1. The primary memory (Random access memory, RAM, and Read only memory,ROM)
2. the secondary memory (hard drive,CD,etc)
