Why menstruation does not occur during pregnancy?

Every month the ovary releases one ova or oocyte.

Then the ova is transported to fallopian tube which is the site of fertilisation.

The fertilised egg then moves to uterus where the walls are thickened in order to provide nutrition.

If the cell doesn't fertilise then the wall of uterus breaks and it turns to menstruation.

So, if the egg is fertilized then there is no chance of fertilisation again or of menstruation.
