why meristematic tissues don't have vacuoles

Meristematic cells divide frequently and give rise to new cells and hence they need dense cytoplasm and thin cell wall. Vacuoles causes hindrance in cell division as it is full of cell sap to provide turgidity and rigidity to the cell. Also vacuoles basically serve the purpose of storing of nutrients, excess salts etc.

vacoules store the food inside them whereas these are meristematic tissues means they are growing tissue so all the food made by the leaf is used for the growth of plant and hence it's not a stored . so meristematic tissues don't have vacuoles .
