The metal which does produce H2 gas with HNO3 are manganese and magnesium. All metals other than these do not produce hydrogen gas when reacting with nitric acid.

Hii There!!!

⚡When metals react with nitric acid , hydrogen gas is liberated.
Also, nitric acid is strong oxidising agent.

⚡During the reaction, when hydrogen gas is produced it gets oxidised to H2O.

⚡For example :-

Cu+ 4HNO3 ---> Cu(NO3)2 + 2NO2 + 2H2O

Hence, hydrogen gas is not liberated in this process.
