Why metals are good conductor of electricity?

ishi85:  Metalparticles are held together by strong metallic bonds, which is why they have high melting and boiling points. The free electrons in metals can move through the metal, allowing metals to conduct electricity.

Metal have many free electrons which are not combined are require less energy to move.
So electricity can move through the metal making them good conductors
