Metals have a high concentration of free electrons. Electricity flow is due to flow of electrons from the negatively charged terminal to the positively charged terminal. Due to their large concentration of free electrons, more amount of electricity can flow through metals and they are good conductors of electricity.

Metalparticles are held together by strong metallic bonds, which is why they have high melting and boiling points. The free electrons in metals can move through the metal, allowing metals to conduct electricity.

Hope this will help you!!!
