Why metre gauge or broad gauge is not used in hilly regions instead of metre gauge? Plz give brief answer of 4-5 lines and reply fast , tomorrow is my geography board exam

metre gauze or broad gauze are not used in hilly areas, whereas narrow gauze is used. it is because it is difficult to construct wider gauzes in hilly areas. narrow gauzes has a less width and the mini trains of those gauzes can easily travel on the terrain of hilly areas. the larger trains cannot do so.
