Hey friend... Here's your answer...
Microwaves have lower frequency and longer wavelength than visible light.. They cook food early than any other electromagnetic waves..
So microwaves are used in ovens...

\Large\bold\star\underline{\underline\textbf{Microwave\:}}

→ Micro waves are radio waves of wavelength 1 mm to 0.3 m. These are produced by oscillating electron in a cavity.

→ Microwaves are used in RADAR.

\Large\bold\star\underline{\underline\textbf{Microvave oven\:}}

→ The frequency of the microwaves is so chosen that it matches with the resonant frequency of the water molecules.

→ So the energy of the waves is transferred
to the kinetic energy of the water molecules. This energy therefore, increases the temperature of any food containing water.

→ That's why we use Microwave in cooking.

\Large\bold\star\underline{\underline\textbf{Properties\:}}

→ Microwaves are e.m. waves of frequency range 1 GHz to 300 GHz.

→ They are produced by special vaccum tube
(Klystrons, magnetrons etc.)
