why midday sun can  be seen overheadein Chennai twice ayear but no even once in Delhi?

The reason of this lies mainly in the location of both the cities.Chennai is midway between the equator and the tropic of cancer and as the Sun gets overhead during the 2 equinox of the year, midday sun can be seen overhead twice a year in Chennai.But Delhi is not closer to the equator so it does not have overhead sun.
