Charles’ law relates to the volume of a dry gas under constant pressure, and indicates it is proportional to the Kelvin temperature. The zero point of the Kelvin scale happens to be -273.15 degrees Celsius. If you’re working with Charles’ law, however, you will need to express temperatures in degrees Kelvin.
