Why mitochondria is said to have originated from ancient prokaryotes?

Mitochondria and chloroplast have ds-DNA ;70s ribosome ;and have more guanine -cytosine pair;like prokaryotic cells .

Both are arise from pre existing cell .

Mitochondria divide by fission .

So these called ancient prokaryote .

Scientics believe that they show symbiotic relationship with eukaryote.
