Answer: Yes, modern democracies cannot exist without political parties as if there was no parties then every candidate should wants to stand in election which is not possible in the country having 135 crores as population of its citizen. In this situation people also does not able to choose their leader and finally democracy changes into monchy. There political parties should be there for a proper running of a democracy.
