Why modern equipments are used in agriculture?

The similar types of equipment can be used to deliver fertilizers and pesticides. Besides the tractor, other vehicles have been adapted for use in farming, including trucks, airplanes, and helicopters, such as for transporting crops and making equipment mobile, to aerial spraying and livestock herd management.

Threshers: Old or traditional methods of threshing or removing seed from pods/panicles were annoying, time consuming, and laborious tasks. People were used to hire women for breaking pods by hitting dried crops on ground or a stone.

Such method of threshing causes loss in final output of grains.

But Threshers or Combine Harvesters are useful and Less time consuming machines.

Initial cost of such machine could be high, but someone can hire these machines too.

Rotavator, Rotary Plow or Power harrow, Pulverizer are some new innovation in the field of Agriculture and are very much useful in Tillage operations. All of them are tractor operated, or self propelled. I have seen the growth in yield of crops due to these machines.
