Why molecular nitrogen is not reactive ????

Molecular nitrogen contains triple bond and it is non-polar molecules. It's dissociation energy is very high, so it does not react with other elements in normal molecular state but reacts only at very high temperature. That's why molecular nitrogen is not reactive.

Molecular nitrogen are not reactive because, nitrogen forms covalent bond with itself and forms N2, in which by sharing the electrons both the nitrogen fillup thyeir octate by eight electrons so, they become non-reactive.
