Why molecules with lone pairs opposite to each other didn't exists?

Bent Shape. There are two situations in which a molecule's shape is "bent" or "angular." Both involve molecules with lone pairs on the central atom. When there are three groups of electrons around the central atom, but only two atoms, these atoms are said to be in an angular or bent arrangement.
