Here's the answer !!

Monozygotic twins are twins formed from the division of a single zygote into two different zygotes. Since the division is from a same zygote both the divided zygotes will have the same composition and chromosome of the original one. Hence both the zygotes will have same sex chromosome due to which the gender is same.
