The moon has a white colour because it reflects the light of the sun.

 

don't think it is yellow.The only reason the sun is yellow is because of our atmosphere. Due to the way light scatters through the atmosphere the bluer wavelengths of light are 'lost' giving the sun a more yellow look, even though it is actually more white than any other colour in reality.
