Sexual reproduction can be practised by many different partners so offspring will have traits of both parents so will be induvidual. Sexual reproduction is performed by mammals, fish... most organisms on Earth.
Asexual reproduction happens when a female produces exact replicas of herself, an example of this is the Indian stick insect, she does not need a male to reproduce and lays eggs which are tiny replicas of herself.

Because in sexual division during cell division crossing over takes place in prophase 1 which results in variation due to exchange of part between two sister chromatic while there isn't such phenomenon in asexual reproduction....
