In modern developed countries, the term "public services"often includes: Courts. Electricity. Education, [e.g. state (public) schools, public universities, etc...] Emergency services, (e.g. Fire, EMS, Law Enforcement, Search and Rescue, etc...) Environmental protection. Health care.
