When you are in a race imagine you are in 1st position and there is one more person who is moving in same speed.... now in your perspective that person is neither going forward nor backward... you see him/her just next to you.... but what other person(audience) will see is that... that person is in motion....

Other examples are when you travel by bus, car or train, for you inside that bus no one is moving but in reality they are moving along with bus.

Just imagine that you are in space (luckily alive) and you see no object any where, not even planets, asteroids or stars... just blank.... can u say you are moving? how will you know it? but if there is one stone coming towards you.... you can say either you or that stone or both are in motion....
