according to Newton's second law, the force applied by motor cycle is as same as the force opposite to that of motor cycle, this force is called friction.frictional force depends on type of surface the vehicle is travelling. for sandy areas like water bays and beaches, the frictional force between vehicle and road is less, so the force applied by motor cycle decreases, resulting decrease in speed.

- As we know that the force that is applied by the motorcycle is the same as the force opposite to that of the motorcycle, this force is known as friction.
- On the type of surface, the vehicle is traveling the frictional force is dependent.
- As we know the frictional force between vehicle and road is less for sandy areas like water bays, beaches, etc.
- The force will decrease that is applied by the motorcycle, resulting in a decrease in speed.
