Mrs. Packeltide wanted to kill a tiger because she wanted to show Loona Bimberton that she was not less than her in any way. She was jealous of Loona Bimberton as she travelled 11 miles in an aeroplane with an Algerian Aviator. Mrs. Packletide wanted to snatch that limelight which Loona Bimberton got by doing this. It was only possible if she could do more daring act than her, So she decided to kill the tiger.

So, to make Loona Bimberton jealous decided to kill a tiger and also decided that after killing a tiger.... she will invite Loona Bimberton and others at her home to gave others. And to show that she is a possesor of tigers skin. She also decided to gave her (Loona Bimberton) tigers claw brooch to make her more jealous...

For this she gave money to villagers to arrange a tiger for her....
