Why mundane task is not prosperous in AI?

People learn the mundane tasks first. ... However, it turns out that these expert tasks actually require much less knowledge than do the mundane skills. Consequently, AI is doing very well in the formal and expert tasks; however it is doing very poorly in the mundane tasks.
