Specimens are collected from various sources and the information gathered is stored. Biologists have established certain procedures and techniques to store and preserve the information as well as the specimens. This information is known as taxonomical aids because it helps the biologists in taxonomic studies.

Mueseum is not fit into this .Thus museum cannot be the taxonomical aid to study the habitat of the organism .

museum cannot be a taxonomical aid  for the habitat of a place because it is the in vitro storage of the dead and decaying organism.

Explanation:

  • museum is good for studying the organism and the characteristics of an organism but it is not good for the habitat because the museum is in no resemblance with the actual habitat of a organism.
  • In addition to this the climatic condition and the the ecological interaction play a very important role in the habitat and the food web of a particular place this has no similarity with that of museum which is primarily for education purpose.
