The Rowlatt Act gave the government enormous powers to repress political activities, and allowed detention of political prisoners without trial for two years.

All the Indian leaders were against this act and Muhammad Ali Jinnah, a member of the All-India Muslim League resigned from the Imperial legislative council in protest against the act.

So, In short all leaders, regardless of their religion were against this act due to its unjust laws.
