2)WHEN IT COMES IN CONTACT WITH OXYGEN IT CATCHES FIRE.

3)THIS IS BECAUSE IT UNDERGOES OXIDATION.

4)TO PREVENT THE OXIDATION AND INCIDENT IT IS KEPT IN KEROSENE.

5)THERFORE NAOH IS HIGHLY EXOTHERMIC.
