Naphthalene balls are sublimate component the directly changes to gaseous state without coming to  liquid state the reason behind their disappearing is that they slowly sublimate and converted into gas without leaving any solid

Because Naphthalene changes its state from solid to gaseous matter. Hence it disappear with time without leaving any solid.
