national income is not sufficient criteria for measuring development of a country because it doesn't defined that how the money is distributed among the people like some of them have more money they are rich but half or more of the population poor.
a country may have highest income all over the world but it doesn't mean that all of the population of the country earn money it may not provide facilities to the public.
