because synthetic fibre are durable and stronger than natural fibre they are cheap but the main reason is trees or natural things are used to made and so trees are cut down which is harmful but there is no such process in synthetic fibre.

Everything has its own value. Nowadays, I think synthetic fibres are given more preferance.
Because they have most of the characteristics which make them unique than that of natural ones. Natural fibres, which we usually wear, are cotton and woollen. And their place is also taken by the synthetic fibres. Cotton and woollen clothes are severally wore in summer and winter seasons respectively.
