why Nehrus birthday is celebrated as children's day?

Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru was born on 14th November, 1889. To give a tribute to this great man and his love towards children, this day is celebrated as Children's Day nationally. Children's Day is celebrated on the 20th of November, worldwide.
