why nitric acid does not produce hydrogen gas when treated with metals

✔HYDROGEN gas is not produced when a metal reacts with Nitric Acid ( HNO3). This is because Nitric Acid is a strong Oxidizing Agent. It oxidized the Hydrogen produced and itself gets reduced to any of the oxides of Nitrogen.
