Why Nitrogen have 2 lone pair of electrons. Explain in simple language?​

Because the nitrogen is in group 5 it means that it can create 3 bonded pairs, for example when it makes ammonia NH3, because the outer shell is now full as the second shell can only hold upto 8 electrons, it means that there will be a lone pair of electrons left.
