Why nitrogen is included in minerals nutrients?

Actually in plants nitrogen is help ful for new leaves ,flowers arise fast and nitrogen is help ful in all and to keep the nutrients with proper minerals.

Nitrogen, although is not a mineral, is derived from soil in the form of nitrate or ammonium ions which are inorganic in nature. So it is included in mineral nutrients.

In contrast, C,H,O are not derived from soil/rock and also not in the inorganic ionic form. So they are excluded from the list of mineral nutrients.
