(x^{ \frac{1}{a - b}})^{ \frac{1}{a - c} }   \times (x^{ \frac{1}{b - c}})^{ \frac{1}{b- a} }   \times (x^{ \frac{1}{c - a}})^{ \frac{1}{c - b} }

 \implies(x^{ \frac{1}{(a - b)(a - c)}})   \times (x^{ \frac{1}{(b - c)(b - a)}})  \times (x^{ \frac{1}{(c - a)(c - b)}})

\implies x^{ \frac{1}{(a - b)(a - c)}  + \frac{1}{(b - c)(b - a)} + \frac{1}{(c - a)(c - b)}}

Answer:

x/a + y/b = a+b

⇒y/b = a + b - x/a     .................. i

x/a² + y/b² = 2 ................ii

⇒x/a² + y/b x1/b = 2

⇒x/a² + a+b/b - x/ab = 2                 puttting i

⇒x(b-a)/a²b = (b-a)/b

⇒x = a²

so x = a²

using ii we get

y = b²

so x=a² and y=b² ANSWER
