Why noble gases are non reactive

Reactions take place because of the bonding or losing or gaining of electrons... How would bonding , losing and gaining would occur? only when there are electrons in the outermost cell that is when they are not stable . In the case of noble gases , they donot have any valence electrons or u can say that they are stable and hence they would not like to make bondjs or gain or lose any electron ..... This is the reason why they are non reactive ....

Noble gases are non-reactive because their outer most shell is completed by 8 electrons except helium which have only 2 electrons which completely fill-up the only orbit. So, they have no free valence electron which can react, as a result they are non- reactive.
