why non metals can't displace hydrogen from the acids

because to displace hydrogen 1. reason is hydrogen is more reactive 2. to convert in hydrogen gas electrons should be supplied but non metals are electronegative they can't give electrons

non metals can displace hydrogen from the assets because because unlike metals nonmetals do not have the tendency to give electrons but to take electrons only metals that are more reactive than hydrogen can displace hydrogen from the acids
