Why north-west india recieves rainfall in winter?Give any three reasons?

North West India recieves rainfall in winter because over medeterian sea some disturbance is observed it is also called as western disturbance.....

so there is rainfall in winter in North West India...

(i) Cyclonic disturbances occur from the West and north west.

(ii)These low-pressure systems originate over the Mediterranean sea and western asia and move into india along with westerly flow.

(iii)They cause winter rains over Punjab,Hariyana and northern plains
