It's was followed before now this is not followed by anyone. The reason is there was mythological belief nothing else.

actually this was a myth which was followed earlier but in today's world no one follows this.
actually this was followed becoz like bathroom is one & everyone goes there for bathing and if the person who is in menstruation baths there then others will be polluted............... according to their thinking.
