Solar energy is the energy in the form of light or electromagnetic radiation that comes from the Sun in our Solar system. Sun is a star that is radiating heat & light energy because of fusion reactions.
Sun has been there for around 4.5 billion years and it is expected that Sun will be there for another 5 billion years minimum. Also the temperature will remain constant (nearly) over billions of years. The luminosity (brightness) will decrease, but very gradually. It will take some billion years more before the radiation becomes not useful on Earth.
Billion years is a long duration. There will be other changes on Earth to worry about. So we need not worry about Solar energy being exhausted.
