heya frnd,
nice question
here is your answer,

we normally say O+ is the world wide donater but it's probably not totally correct. Actually O- should be called as the true world wide donater as the person having O- blood group can donate any person of any blood group.
As each blood group has a certain limitations O- don't bave any limitations in donating but O+ has, person having blood group O+ can only donate to those person who have + blood group not - . So O+ can't as well as ABO typing is compatible, but the Rh incompatibility also can produce a major (and lethal) reaction.
ABO typing means giving blood from + to + or - to - or - to + ( hope u r understanding what i mean )
Rh typing means donating blood of + to - ( not - to + ).

Hope u understood

i wrote everything i knew about this topic.

hope this helps

if u need further help ask me frankly.

Thank you

hii..
it's the Rh factor incompatibility which matters actually for the transfusion.
Rh factor is negative for O negative patients while it's + in case of O positive..
so it becomes incompatible while transfusion...

hope it helps you..
