why O2 is called a gas

Oxygen is called as gas because-

☆ Its molecules are randomly arranged. So they move freely.

☆ It has neither fixed shape nor fixed volume.

☆ It is compressible.

So as it has properties of gas, it is considered as gas.

oxygen is a basics of atomic structures where singular oxygen molecules are attached to each other by solid covalent bond .be that as it may every oxygen particles is help to the next by people intermolecular or Van der Waals force .....In this way at room temperature oxygen is a gas ..
